[Softball] Softball Captures Must-Win Series from Montreat

DAYTON, Tenn. – The pressure was on as Bryan College softball and Montreat College clashed in a must-win Appalachian Athletic Conference series, as both teams entered Wednesday tied at 11-13 marks in conference play. The fight was for a spot in the upcoming AAC tournament, and the Lions punched their ticket to postseason play by outlasting the Cavaliers in narrow 5-4 and 5-3 decisions. Bryan now stands at an even 13-13 in conference and 18-24 overall while Montreat fell to 11-15 in the AAC and 20-26 overall.
