[Softball] Point Splits AAC Doubleheader at Montreat; Wins Game One, 13-4

MONTREAT, N.C. – Point University (13-11; 8-6 AAC) exploded for 13 runs on 12 hits in a 13-4 Appalachian Athletic Conference softball victory over Montreat College (12-14; 3-3 AAC) in game one of a Sat., March 16 doubleheader, and Montreat salvaged a split by winning game two, 4-1.  Coached by Jennifer Tyler (Eighth season), Point travels to Brenau University for an AAC doubleheader, Tue., March 19, at 4 p.m., and plays two at Georgia Southwestern State University, Friday, March 22, at 2 p.m.
