[Softball] Softball set to open regular season
The University of Houston-Victoria softball team is set to open the 2019 season on Friday, but weather has already played into the schedule.
The Jaguars are to open play Friday in the NAIA Cowtown Classic in Fort Worth, but their first-round game against fourth-ranked Columbia (Mo.) at 8 a.m. has been cancelled due to a freezing temperature forecast. UHV coach Lindsey Ortiz said all six of the 8 a.m. games for Friday have been cancelled.
