[Softball] Junior varsity softball defeats Cumberlands in doubleheader sweep

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson junior varsity softball team defeated Cumberlands (Ky.) in a doubleheader sweep on Thursday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders opened the doubleheader against the Patriots with a 12-2 three-inning run-rule game. Kaylee Covey pitched all three innings for the Blue Raiders and recorded nine strikeouts while only giving up four hits. Kaitlyn LaSala went 2-for-3 in the game with a double and three RBIs.
