[Softball] Rio's Hammond receives honor from RSC

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - University of Rio Grande head softball coach Chris Hammond has been named the winner of the River States Conference Coach of Character Award for the 2017-18 school year.
    Hammond, who recently completed his third season at the helm of the RedStorm program, was nominated by the institution and selected following a vote by the Champions of Character liaisons at each of the RSC's 13 member schools
