[Softball] Softball Makes History in Win Over Cincinnati Christian

Troutville, Va. (May 17, 2018) – Looking to secure a spot in the semifinals of the NCCAA Softball World Series, the number-three seeded Central Baptist College softball team took on the six-seed Cincinnati Christian in the second round today. CBC (40-19) beat the Eagles 8-0 in five innings and made history in doing so, winning their 40th game for the first time since 2012 and making head coach Jordon Jones the most successful first-year head coach in program history.
