[Softball] Freed-Hardeman advances to NAIA Softball World Series with 7-3 victory over Saint Xavier
COLUMBIA, Ky. – Third-seeded Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) defeated fourth-seeded Saint Xavier in the Championship Game of the 2018 NAIA Softball Opening Round – Columbia (Ky.) Bracket at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
The Lions (35-14) outhit the Cougars (29-17) 12-7 in the game. Kaylyn Graham led the way for Freed-Hardeman with four hits and driving in four runs. Caitlyn Carter and Hannah Wright each had two hits.
