[Softball] Merkle Home Run Gives Softball 13-Inning Win in WHAC Tournament
It took nearly two days to complete, but it was worth the wait as a solo home run by Kelly Merkle (SR/Highland, MI) in the bottom of the 13th gave the Northwestern Ohio softball team a dramatic 2-1 win over Lawrence Tech Friday afternoon in the opening round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament in Sylvania, Ohio.
