[Softball] Simpson Tops MCU to Open Softball Tournament
Top-seeded Simpson opened up the defense of its California Pacific Conference Championship Tournament title by topping #4 seed Marymount California 9-1 in the first game in Redding, Calif. Cal Pac Pitcher of the Year Sydney Moorhead allowed just two hits in her four innings of work in the circle while the Red Hawk offense scored in four of the five innings to bring the game to an early close.
