[Softball] No. 2 Seed Lyon Slips to Seventh-Seeded Spartans

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 2 seed Lyon College softball team had a rematch against seventh-seeded Missouri Baptist today in the AMC Tournament and fell just short by a score of 5-4 to the Spartans at Antimi Softball Complex. After the Spartans grabbed the lead in the sixth inning, both teams traded punches as Missouri Baptist would come out with the victory.

Cheyenne Black led the offense going 2-for-3 and hitting her 20th career home run to become the program's all-time leader.
