[Softball] UHV's Ortiz recognized for mentorship

University of Houston-Victoria head softball coach Lindsey Ortiz was recently recognized by the Victoria Business and Education Coalition for her years as a mentor at Hopkins Elementary School.

Ortiz has served as a mentor in the Victoria Independent School District for the past 11 years, beginning when she was a student-athlete for the first UHV softball team in 2007.
