[Softball] Point's Ryan Simpson Wins Third AAC Softball Pitcher of Week Award

WEST POINT, GA: Junior right-hander Ryan Simpson (Valley, AL) was named Appalachian Athletics Conference Pitcher of the Week for the third time during the 2018 season.  Simpson also won the award in consecutive weeks for Feb. 18-24 and Feb. 25-March 1, 2018.  She is 17-9 this season with an earned-run average of 1.39, 17 complete games and eight shutouts and 130 strikeouts and just 13 walks in 175-2/3 innings.
