[Softball] Lyon Sweeps William Woods in Doubleheader

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College softball team held on for another doubleheader sweep on Sunday afternoon defeating William Woods 5-1 and 7-5 at House Field. With the wins the Scots now have 31 wins on the season, which is a program record. The new record breaks the 2016 mark when the Scots had 30 wins.

The Scots are now 31-9 overall and 14-4 in the AMC, while the Owls stand at 20-18 overall and 11-7 in the conference. Lyon remains in third place in the conference, while William Woods is in fifth.
