[Softball] Micaela Sandoval joins 2018-19 SAU Softball recruiting class

St. Ambrose head softball coach Ron Ferrill today announced Micaela Sandoval has committed to attend St. Ambrose University and play for the Bees' softball team beginning in 2018-19.

Micaela is the daughter of Guillermo and Jeanette Sandoval of Ottawa, Ill. She attends Ottawa Township High School and plans to study Nursing and Psychology at St. Ambrose.

Micaela currently plays for Ottawa HS and the Legends Fastpitch travel team. She bats and throws right handed while pitching and playing outfield with the ability to move to the infield when needed.
