[Softball] No. 25 Lyon's Offense Cruises Past Pioneers

PARAGOULD, Ark. – The 25th-ranked Lyon College softball team sprinted past Crowley's Ridge in a doubleheader on Tuesday, winning 8-1 in game one and 15-0 in five innings in the second game. History was also made as Cheyenne Black hit her 12th home run of the season, which set a program record for most home runs in a single season. Lyon College softball head coach Elliott Sampley also earned his 100th career win at Lyon, in the Scots' 8-1 victory.

Lyon eclipses last season's win total with the sweep, reaching 24-8 on the season. Crowley's Ridge falls to 12-16 on the year.
