[Softball] Lady Warriors Split Home Opener with Eagles, Other Games Washed Out

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University's softball team added a home game before the cold and rain swept through the area with Oklahoma Wesleyan University this past Friday. The Eagles were coming through the area for a game in York and stopped in at Christensen Field for a doubleheader with the Warriors. Playing in temperatures hovering around 50 degrees with 20 mph winds the two teams split the games. Midland (13-8) won the first 2-0 before falling 6-1 to the OKWU.
