[Softball] Point's Pendley and Simpson Named AAC Softball Player and Pitcher of Week

WEST POINT, GA: Junior first baseman Shea Pendley (Chatsworth, GA) and junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Simpson (Valley, AL) from Point University have been named Appalachian Athletics Conference Softball Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week respectively for the week of Feb. 25-March 3, 2018.  Simpson received her award for the second consecutive week.  Pendley and Simpson are two reasons why Point won four of its six games last week, including three of its four AAC games, and is 10-10 this season after an early 2-6 start.
