CLERMONT, Fla. – Mount Vernon Nazarene University Softball opened its season in a positive fashion, defeating Ave Maria (1-0) and No. 16 Southeastern (4-2) on the strength of high-quality pitching and defensive performances for its first two wins of 2018.
