[Softball] Paysinger Walk-Off HR Leads Apaches Past Howard

The Apache Ladies opened their softball season in dramatic fashion on Friday.
Briana Paysinger belted an 0-2 pitch for a two-run game-winning homer as No. 11 Tyler Junior College defeated No. 7 Howard College, 5-4, in the first game of a doubleheader at Schwab Field on The Brook Hill School campus in Bullard.
There was not as much drama in the second game as the Apache Ladies scored a 12-3, five-inning win.
