The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars enter the 2018 softball season ranked No. 24 in the NAIA Preseason Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

The ranking is the highest preseason ranking for the Jaguars in their previous eight rankings. Their best preseason ranking was at No. 10 in the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
