[Softball] Baird Takes Softball Post at LTU

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Lawrence Tech named Karen Baird as its new head softball coach for the upcoming season. Whilte playing at Adrian College, Baird was a three-time MIAA All-League selection and earned league MVP honors in 1993. Her coaching career includes years at Albion College (Mich.), Eastern Michigan and Oakland University (Mich.). 

Baird looks to improve on an outstanding inaugural year as LTU finished 8-12 in WHAC play and 22-28 overall last season and has a core group of returning players.
