Skier Front Flips Off of One of Whistler's Most Feared Lines
Tahoe local Isaac Kaufman is having a season to remember.
The 20-year-old started the winter off strong by front flipping McConkey's at Palisades Tahoe; he qualified but had to withdraw from Jackson Hole's Kings & Queens of Corbet's after sending it too hard during practice, and now, he just front flipped Air Jordan at Whistler.
For those out of the loop, Air Jordan is a cliff feature accessible from Whistler Blackcomb's Summit Express, on the Whistler side of the resort. It's a proving ground for big mountain skiers and riders, with a built-in live audience watching from the Summit Express lift line.
Often, when skiers send something big on Air Jordan, the crowd erupts in a flurry of cheers and applause. It's one of skiing's best venues.
We can't confirm if Isaac Kaufman is the first to ever front flip Air Jordan, but it's certainly the first time we've seen it on a crystal-clear GoPro POV. Tap or click below to watch. Keep reading for more.

If you're freaking out after watching Kaufman front flip Air Jordan, don't worry, you're not alone. Professional skiers and brands chimed in with words of support.
"Heavy," wrote reigning King of Corbet's Couloir Tristen Lilly. Big mountain legend Julian Carr commented with a simple gas can emoji, showing his approval. GoPro's official account chimed in with a simple, "Unreal."
Isaac Kaufman won POWDER's "Best Trick of the Winter" competition last season with a massive backflip off of Corbet's Couloir. Coincidentally, he narrowly beat out Nate Pruzan's stylish Air Jordan top-to-bottom run.
