Inviting Expressions of Interest for a new Programs Committe
At its January meeting, the SLNC Board approved a new Terms of Reference for re-positioning the Programs Committee. The new Programs Committee is responsible for program strategy and oversight on behalf of the Board.
Programs are a centrepiece at SLNC. They span all ages and abilities and deliver smiles, skills, and a ski community for over 400 participants. Coaches, parents, other volunteers and staff provide the energy and expertise to make it all happen. The new Programs Committee will work with and on behalf of all those involved in programs to ensure their ongoing success and sustainability.
Is this a mandate that captures your interest and imagination? Do you have working knowledge of Nordiq Canada’s Long-term Athlete Development model? What about experience with programs governance, management, and/or operations? Is organizational leadership and strategic planning your thing? Do you value and enjoy consulting with people and groups to understand different perspectives?
