NEW VIDEO: British-American Olympic Skier Gus Kenworthy Plays Victim After Urinating Vulgar Anti-ICE Message in Snow Ahead of Winter Games

British American freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy has posted a new video playing victim after he sparked massive backlash for posting a photo of himself urinating “F-ck ICE” in the snow as a protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ahead of the Olympic Games in Italy.

The 34-year-old athlete competes for Great Britain, but lives in the U.S.

Kenworthy was previously on Team USA but switched after the 2018 games.

As The Gateway Pundit reported last week, Kenworthy shared an image of his “urine snow art” on Instagram, urging followers to contact their senators to pressure them during ongoing Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding negotiations.

The skier included a sample script for calls to senators, demanding “real guardrails and accountability” for ICE, claiming, “Innocent people have been murdered, and enough is enough. We can’t wait around while ICE continues to operate with unchecked power in our communities.”

The post quickly went viral, drawing sharp criticism from conservatives, many of whom pointed out the hypocrisy of Kenworthy benefiting from life in America while attacking the agency protecting its borders.

On Sunday, Kenworthy doubled down on his anti-ICE sentiments in a follow-up Instagram video, while whining that he has become a victim of hate.

Kenworthy claimed to be receiving death threats and hateful messages, including “slurs” and wishes for him to injure himself during competition.

“A lot of the messages have been awful, people telling me to kill myself, threatening me, wishing they’ll get to see me blow my knee or break my neck during my event, calling me slurs … it’s insane,” he said.

The skier added, “Maybe that’s the price you pay for speaking up and using your platform.”

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has confirmed no sanctions will be imposed on Kenworthy, stating it does not regulate personal social media posts.

“During the Olympic Games, all participants have the opportunity to express their views as per the Athlete Expression Guidelines. The IOC does not regulate personal social media posts,” a spokesperson for the committee told The Guardian.

The Guardian’s report noted, “Team GB did not comment directly on the post. However, it is understood that they are not concerned as they believe it is a personal opinion on a subject outside of the Olympic Games, and Kenworthy doesn’t invoke Team GB in any way, shape or form.”
