How Many Days Do Skiers Actually Ski Each Season? (Poll)
Amongst skiers, no accomplishment compares to tallied days on the mountain.
Here, friendly duels around sticky bar tables are only settled when one participant can exclaim—and prove—that they've spent more time skiing than their compatriots.
That brings us to our question, dear readers. How often do you actually ski each winter?
Poll:
One clarification about this poll. This isn't actually a competition.
Yes, it feels good to be on top, but if you only squeezed in three days last winter because your boss didn't let you "WFH" from the back of your car in a ski resort parking lot, you didn't lose—when we're skiing, we're all winners.
Without further ado, here's the newest POWDER Weekly Poll. Thanks for participating!

Poll Prediction
What do we expect to find in this poll? I'll venture a hypothesis: ten days or less should be the category with the most votes, depending on the crowd that responds (or, perhaps, 11 to 20 days). We'd all love to be out there 100-plus days each year, but life finds a way of, well, getting in the way. Balance works, too, even if that looks like one treasured ski vacation each year.
About the POWDER Poll
We'll collect data from this POWDER Poll all week, and then release the data on Sunday, November 16, 2025, right here on our website. Check the POWDER Instagram page for a post breaking down the results that same day.
The poll closes on Friday, November 14, at 12:00 p.m. EST. Make your voice heard before then! Skiers can vote in the poll here on the website and on the accompanying Instagram post.
While you're at it, drop us a line or leave an Instagram comment if there's a poll you'd like to see next. Skiers have plenty of opinions and preferences, and we want to know which ones might land on top of the heap.
