Eileen Gu's New Pro Model Ski Graphic Is Here—First Look
Faction Skis has released a limited-edition graphic celebrating one of their most successful and loved skiers—Eileen Gu.
Gu, who has been with the brand since she was just 16 years old, is no stranger to incorporating style into her skiing in every sense. In honor of an Olympic year for the star park skier, Faction has released a ski to match.
Faction has released two skis: the Studio 0 Gu and Prodigy 1 GU. The skis' graphics pay homage to Gu's roots and the Chinese Zodiac, in which 2025 is the year of the snake. As the 2026 Winter Olympics approach, Gu is a favorite for slopestyle, halfpipe, and big air, with previous Olympic medals in all three disciplines.
The monochrome graphic depicts a serpent as a symbol of wisdom, elegance, and transformation. It was designed by Colorado artist, Elsa Grace, who is also behind the ski lifestyle brand, Slut Strand Society, and Faction's Prodigy Capsule collection from 2024.

The Prodigy 1 is an 88mm underfoot directional twin tip designed specifically for precise handling on-piste and in the park. It's got the poplar core that's in many of Faction's skis, layered with Ash to stiffen the ski. Carbon and rubber inserts help to add stability and dampen the ski as well as absorb impact. The Prodigy 1 Gu is available in a 158cm, 164cm, or 171cm size.
The Studio 0 is Eileen's go-to ski, as it's a higher-performance ski designed specifically for halfpipe. An 83mm waist width and symmetrical twin-tip design make this ski perfect for skiing switch and landing off-center. The current limited edition version of the Studio 0 Gu comes in a 168cm length. Faction also released a Studio 0 Gu in 2024 with another limited edition graphic.

Gu has also been rocking a custom kit made by Chinese sport equipment maker, Anta, emblazoned with her name in gold lettering and phrases like 'Non ducor, duco' (Latin for 'I am not led, I lead) and 'Veni, Vidi, Vici,' the Julius Caeser quote meaning 'I came, I saw, I conquered.'
She showed details of the kit off in a recent post that also teased the limited edition Faction ski in early October.
