8 Professional Skiers and Snowboarders We're Excited To Meet at Snowbound Expo 2025

Snowbound Expo 2025 is poised to be one of the most significant live ski events of the season.

A host of brands, speakers, resorts, and athletes will take over Boston's Menino Convention & Exhibition Center from November 14-16, 2025. Tickets are still available, and POWDER Magazine readers can get 50% off by using the code POWDER at checkout.

When: Sunday, November 16, 2025
What: Donny Pelletier: Maine’s Finest Athlete (just ask him)

Everybody's favorite skier, also known as Maine's Finest Athlete, Donny Pelletier, is back at Snowbound Expo 2025 for what will surely be a speech to remember. Pelletier is listed as a headline speaker at Snowbound 2025, but don't be surprised if things go off the rails.

2. Amie Engerbretston

When: Saturday, November 15, 2025
What: Are We Hypocrites? Amie Talks Moral Conflicts in the Mountains

Professional skier, climate advocate, and all-around good human Amie Engerbretson will lead multiple talks at Snowbound Expo 2025. We're most intrigued, however, by Engerbretson's planned talk on Saturday called, 'Are We Hypocrites? Amie Talks Moral Conflicts in the Mountains'.

Considering Engerbretson's though-provoking 2024 film, The Hypocrite, we're expecting this talk to be quite engaging.

3. Zeb Powell

When: Saturday, November 15, 2025
What: In Session With Zeb Powell

Zeb Powell is arguably snowboarding's most popular rider, and with a vague name like 'In Session With Zeb Powell', we're very curious about what the rider from North Carolina is planning. Details are limited. I guess we'll have to show up to find out!

4. Noah Dines

When: Friday, November 14, 2025
What: Movie Screening & Behind the Scenes—Still Excited to Ski

Noah Dines became a household name when he accomplished an unbelievable feat on skis. In the course of just one year, Dines ascended, and subsequently descended, over 3.5 million feet of vertical. Snowbound Expo 2025 guests will have the opportunity to see a new movie titled 'Still Excited to Ski' about Dines' journey, and will have opportunities to ask questions.

5. Jay Rawe

When: Friday, November 14, 2025
What: Meet Sit-Skiing’s MVP, Jay Rawe

If you don't know who Jay Rawe is, please stop what you're doing and watch this clip.

Rawe is one of skiing's most creative and innovative athletes. Rather than treat his sit-ski like a hinderance, Rawe charges faster, leaps higher, turns better, and sends it larger than many of his counterparts. He's an absolute joy to watch on snow. Fans will have the opportunity to listen to and meet Rawe during his talk on Friday.

6. LJ Henriquez, Rob Roethler, Luis Medearis

When: Saturday, November 15, 2025
What: Technically Doing It: Rewriting Riding Culture

LJ Henriquez, Rob Roethler, and Luis Medearis represent the Technically Doing It (TDI) crew of professional snowboarders and creatives. The group is well-known in snowboarding culture for their video releases, merch, and other collaborations.

7. Dan Egan

When: Friday, November 14, 2025
What: Movie Screening & Behind the Scenes – Return To The Silk Road

Legendary freeskier and ski industry veteran Dan Egan returns to Turkey to ski the same locations that made him famous in Warren Miller's 1992 film Steeper and Deeper. The only difference? About 30 years and his nephew, Jonny Egan, is in tow.

8. Shannon Dunn

When: Sunday, November 16, 2025
What: In Conversation With Women’s Snowboarding Pioneer, Shannon Dunn

Snowboarding icon Shannon Dunn is best known for being the first American snowboarder to earn an Olympic medal. She'll visit Snowbound 2025 to talk about pioneering the women's snowboarding movement, her successful pro models, and more.
