NST Ski Announces Return to Alaska in 2026
After a debut that the ski world still hasn't stopped talking about in 2025, Natural Selection Tour (NST) Ski has announced that the competition will return to Alaska once again in 2026.
The competition will be held in late March with skiers at a home base in Alaska for a week-long weather window. Like last year, the event will be broadcasted via Red Bull TV in early April, with the results shown at the end of the broadcast.
The 2025 winners, Manon Loschi and Craig "Weazy" Murray have automatically pre-qualified for the event. Joining them will be the other top place finishers from the 2025 finals, Michelle Parker on the women's side and Sam Kuch, Markus Eder, and Colby Stevenson on the men's.
Additionally, more athletes will have chances to pre-qualify for the event through a soon-to-be-announced first stage, or as wildcards of the best skiers in the world, as needed to fill any drop spots.
“Last year felt like we cracked open a new chapter in skiing,” said Mike Douglas, NST Ski Event Director and pro skier in a press release. “This format strips skiing back to what it really is: reading the terrain and letting your style come through. We saw skiers push themselves in a way that honored both creativity and commitment. This year, the bar will only rise.”

In case you missed last year, NST Ski isn't another slope contest or FWT-style event.
Run deep in Alaska's mountains, skiers take on the most formidable terrain and add their own style and creativity to it. The whole contest is captured by an expert team of filmers, FPV drones, and photographers, making the broadcast an incredibly polished and cinematic experience of it's own akin to watching an Alaska ski film segment.
Needless to say, it's an event to look forward to.
In case you missed it, or just want to relive the action, you can watch last year's broadcast on Red Bull TV and stay tuned for more on NST Ski 2026 soon.
