???? Fall Work Party – Let’s Get Ready for Winter! ❄️
It’s that time of year again! Before the snow flies, we’re calling on our amazing volunteers to help us tackle some important projects to get the club prepped and ready for the season. The snow will be here in less than a month!
Dates: Friday, September 26th & Saturday, September 27th
Time: 10 am -3 pm
@ Sovereign Lake Nordic Club
Tasks for the Day Include:

Deck care: Sanding and staining the lower deck with a stand-up sander.

Roof prep: Attaching snow stops to the Race Office and Wax Hut roof (ladder + power tool work).

Bench refresh: Sanding and painting benches at the Old Day Lodge.

Waste removal: Cutting rebar with a sawzall, lifting/loading wood and materials into the dumpster.

Repairs & construction: Inspecting and repairing railings on building decks (power tool skills required).

History project: Organizing and scanning memorabilia (photo albums, newspaper clippings, pictures).

Wood, wood, and more wood! Splitting, stacking, and moving firewood to keep us cozy all winter.
Bring your energy, work gloves, and a willingness to pitch in. Whether you’re handy with tools, prefer lighter jobs, or want to help preserve our club’s history, there’s something for everyone.
