Colby Stevenson knows how lucky his is just to be able to do what he loves — skiing — after suffering serious injuries in a car accident back in 2016 that cracked his skull in 30 places and shattered bones in his face and ribs.

Since then he has defied the odds that doctors gave him and has not only been able to get back on the slopes, but he’s now an Olympian for the first time in his life at the age of 24.
