Lindsey Vonn & Fiance P.K. Subban Talk Wedding Plans!

Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban are spilling details about their engagement and wedding!

The 34-year-old Olympic skier and the 30-year-old ice hockey defenceman announced their engagement on Friday (August 23).

“After a few months of dating, I knew he was the one I wanted to be with,” Lindsey told Vogue. “He makes me happy, and he’s so positive and energetic.”

For the proposal, P.K. shared, “I wanted it to be very personal and about how serious I’m taking it. It’s about us and our family. I kept it close to the chest.”

P.K. Subban picked up her ring – an emerald, her favorite color and his birthstone – at XIV Karats on August 14 in Beverly Hills: “I got the ring and said, ‘You know what? I’m just going to do it home.’ Everything kind of came together on that day. Everyone says the stars aligned—well, it was actually a full moon. I was worried because I knew she would want to be dressed up and not in her pajamas, and it just so happened she had a business meeting, so she was fully dressed up.”

On wedding plans, Lindsey said, “We’re in such a busy time right now. We’re trying to move to New Jersey. I just want to enjoy the moment and the engagement. We’re not in a big hurry to get married. It kind of depends on his playing schedule, and when we have time to sit down and go through it. I don’t want to stress him out because he has a big season coming.”

“I want to wear something green, like my ring, for the after-party,” Lindsey Vonn added. “Other than that, I honestly haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about it. I’m mostly just excited for the future!”
