Legendary Olympic freestyle skier opening Bay Area bar

Not for the first time in his career, North Bay native and Olympic gold medalist Jonny Moseley is trying out a bold new move. This time, it's opening a sports bar and eatery in Corte Madera, the Marin Independent Journal reports this week.

The space boasts a heated patio with a fire pit (not presently a huge draw given the Bay Area's current heat wave, but sure to be appealing as things cool off later this year), games like shuffleboard and darts, and a menu developed in partnership with Karen Goldberg, the owner of Tamalpie Pizzeria, which used to occupy Moseley's spot at the Tamal Vista shopping plaza.
