SWIX Hot Box Service
Hot Boxing your skis allows for better wax absorption, increased wax durability and ultimately faster skis, this service is available for both skate and classic skis and requires 72 hour turnaround.
For $39 we will do the following: (Item #12034)
- Thoroughly clean skis.
- Apply a generous layer of SWIX CH8X (+4 to -4) with digital electric iron.
- Hot Box skis for 4 hours at 55 C, allow to cool overnight.
- In the morning scrape and apply SWIX CH7X (-2 to -8) with digital electric iron to harden base.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes, scrape & roto brush.
For $49 we will do the following: (Item #12040)
- Same as above.
- Finish by applying SWIX LF8X (+4 to -4) with digital electric iron.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes, scrape & roto brush.
