‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Who is the Skeleton?
Were you one of the millions who tuned into the first episode of season 2 of “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday? The show concluded with the unmasking of two of the eight celebrities who had performed (the Egg turned out to be Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir while the Ice Cream was professional gamer and YouTube star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.) While we still don’t know for sure the identities of the other six famous faces inside those elaborate animal costumes, we’ve been doing some digging. Keep reading for “The Masked Singer” spoilers on the name of the Skeleton.
Skeleton says he chose his costume because he has no fear of death. He readily admits to having been around the block a few times in life and says key to his success is to always say “Yes.” The Skeleton concedes that he’s grown tired of playing second fiddle and is ready to take his turn in the spotlight. He finishes things off with the catchphrase “Party on dudes!”
Skeleton did himself proud with his rip-roaringly funny rendition of “Rapper’s Delight” by the Sugar Hill Gang. After he lost the audience vote to Thingamajig, Skeleton then had to do battle with the Egg. He redeemed himself with his soulful cover of “Hard to Handle” by The Black Crowes.

We are convinced that the Skeleton is Dana Carvey.
Robin Thicke concurs, noting that Carvey had once played second fiddle to Mike Myers in the “Wayne’s World” movies. As Wayne, Myers would urge Carvey’s character, Garth, to “party on.”
Carvey, who is now 64, was only in his early 40s when he had to endure a series of heart operations. That health scare forced him to put his career on the back burner for a time. But in recent years, he has carved out a space for himself as a stand-up and has headlined several Netflix specials.

We won’t find out for sure if Dana is the Skeleton till he is unmasked. That will only happen if he loses a match-up or wins the show. Do you think we are right about the true identity of the Skeleton? Sound off in the comments section with your best guesses.
