Where and when to see Lizzy Yarnold on her Kent tour

Double Olympic champion Lizzy Yarnold will return to the streets of Kent tomorrow.

After her historic win in Pyeonchang, the skeleton racer is bringing the gold home to Sevenoaks on Wednesday morning.

The 29-year-old will embark on a borough-wide bus tour covering Outford, Eynsford and Swanley before finishing in her home town of West Kingsdown.

Kent's Lizzie Yarnold was Team GB's flag bearer at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Mrs Yarnold made history in February when she won gold at the Winter Olympics, four years on from victory in Sochi.

The victory made her the first British winter Olympian to retain their title.

West Kingsdown carpenter Terry crafted a golden post box for the local icon upon her return and has done the same again ahead of Wednesday's visit.

The postbox will be filled with messages from locals congratulating Mrs Yarnold on her success.
