Skater of the Month Oct 2016

Our Skater of the Month for October is non other than the wee Belfast ripper Zoë! 

Zoë just turned 10 in July and has been skating on and off for a about a year. She regularly hits up the road outside her house and Bridges in Belfast whenever she gets the chance! 

Zoë thought it was cool when her mum get her first set up and followed suit with her own in July of last year. She was super stoked with her Flip board and soon learned to tik tac, drop in and carve. The most recent additions to her trick list include tail stalls and rock to fakies. 

We asked Zoë what she liked about skating and she gave us the sweetest answer - 'I love skateboarding because it's fun and everyone in the skate park is so kind and when I met Girl-skate Ireland, they were all so helpful at teaching me new tricks. I knew this was going to be a hobby I'd have forever.  Now all my friends are starting to skate and I enjoy teaching them. I skate with my mum and my friends in the bridges, Chris, Max, Isaac, Olivia the most and the people I meet everyday I'm in the park.'

Not only does this little lady rip around the place she's already got a solid skate crew (which includes her super cool skating Mammy!). This chick has a bright future ahead of her so keep your eyes peeled!
