Rebuilding After The Fires: Altadena, CA Supply The Ride Giveback

When the Eaton Canyon Fire struck earlier this year, youth in Altadena, CA, lost more than just their homes – they lost their creative outlet for joy, self-expression, and a daily sense of normalcy.

At TSP, we believe skateboarding isn’t just a sport, it’s a lifeline! So in response, we teamed up with the Altadena Boys to bring a special Supply the Ride activation to the heart of the community, complete with skateboards, shoes, safety gear, clothing, and more! Some kids reconnected with their longtime love of skateboarding, while others stepped on a board for the first time.

Thanks to Keen Ramps’ mobile skatepark, the day became a playground of progression. With demos (yes, roof drops included), one-on-one coaching from the WKND team and Worble crew, board-building and painting stations, food, music, and more – kids and their families had a day full of fun, free gear, and connection.

Shout out to all the local partners, volunteers, and our Supply the Ride partners, DLX, Triple Eight, and Converse! Together, we didn’t just rebuild boards – we rebuilt hope, community, and resilience.

100 Boards, 100 Helmets, 100 Shoes – One Epic Day in Watts, CA!

Back in March, TSP joined forces with Super Skate Posse to bring some Supply the Ride magic to the brand-new Watts Skatepark. Just weeks after its public opening, we returned to help activate this new 14,000 sq. ft. space with an unforgettable community celebration.

The day kicked off with a full gear giveaway for 100 local kids—boards, helmets, shoes—followed by a demo from the Primitive Skateboarding team, and even a surprise visit from the legendary Paul Rodriguez! But this event was about more than just gear; it was about access, joy, and building community through skateboarding.

Big thanks to our partners, local community organizations, and especially the families of Watts, CA, for showing up, breaking down barriers, and proving that skateboarding belongs to everyone. The energy and smiles are what our Supply the Ride Program is all about.

From California to New York — and Now, Skateboarding Across Japan!

After skating 3,000 miles across the U.S. in just 76 days, Jason Vanporppal is now just a week away from completing his latest mission: Skateboarding Across Japan.

Starting in Hokkaido and pushing all the way to Okinawa, Jason has been connecting with local communities and immersing himself in Japan’s vibrant skateboarding culture. His goal? To inspire the next generation by making skateboarding more accessible to kids everywhere.

Through every push and every mile, Jason proves that skateboarding builds confidence, creativity, and resilience—no matter where the road leads. Your support can help put a skateboard in a child’s hands, provide essential safety gear, and open up a world of possibility.

‘Supply the Ride’ Giveaway and Tree Planting Celebration in Whiteriver

We’re thrilled to share highlights from an incredible day of community and creativity in Whiteriver, AZ! TSP recently joined forces with the White Mountain Apache Tribe for a vibrant event held at the future site of the Whiteriver Skatepark. The celebration featured live music, local art, delicious food, raffles, and a meaningful tree planting ceremony.

Additionally, through our Supply the Ride initiative, TSP proudly donated 70 skateboards and 10 bikes—all assembled by local volunteers and gifted to families in the community.

This event marks an exciting step forward in our mission to support youth,  community, and recreational spaces on Indigenous land. We’re incredibly grateful to our partners who helped make it all possible, including Dynacraft Wheels, DLXSF, board member Ed Wilson, local advocate Douglas Miles Jr., and many more.
