Heat C Bam Adebayo out 4-6 weeks after thumb surgery
Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo will be sidelined 4-6 weeks following surgery on his right thumb.
The 24-year-old All-Star underwent a procedure Monday to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The surgery was performed by Dr. Steven Shin at the Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center in Los Angeles.
Adebayo has averaged 18.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 18 starts this season, shooting 51.9 percent from the f
