OPEN CROATIAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2022

Pula, 30.09.-2.10.2022.

Pula has welcomed 23 FD crews from 7 nations to the 2022 Open Croatian Championship.

Friday light winds permitted only one race, Saturday full of planning 3 race in the awesome conditions with vind up to 16 knots of west wind and big waves so everybody could enjoy FD on maximum performances. And on Sunday forecast wasn’t good in the start with very light breeze wich will change direction whole day. In the end, Race Committee did stopped race almost on its end do to wind completely changed direction and dropped down. We did wait for an hour and a half for wind to come back but didn’t happened. So the results from Saturday was valid for open Croatian FD Championship 2022.

The overall winner was last year winner GER 87 Hans-Peter Schwartz/Roland Kirst, followed by GER 98 Smhuel Markhoff/Lars Stockmann. 3rd on the podium was,  SUI 1 Stephan Fels/Ulf Hugel.

For the Croatian championship ranking CRO 15 Nadan Kosanovic/Bosko Celic followed by CRO 69 Tin Matulja/Val Matulja,. 3rd on the podium was new entries in the class, CRO 941 PatrikKubaska/Dino Petešić. Interesting part was that all Croatian podium had same points.
