Cruise Update 2021

0 12
Evening Dinner Cruise

1ST MARCH 2021 -1000hrs

We are very excited to be working through a re-opening plan and have already released some cruises with many more to follow. As of the 1st March, we are awaiting final guidance from DEFRA as to operating requirements on the various government target dates. As soon as we have this update we will amend our schedules and add in more cruises.

From today you can:

Book a private charter from 21st June. The easiest way at the current time is to contact our private charter team here

Book Afternoon Tea and Sunday Lunch both of which recommence in July but we are also hopeful to operate sailings in June

Book a wedding, there are various key dates for wedding size limits. Please contact our private charter team with your requirements, our wedding planner will then be able to assist you.

Book a scattering of ashes remembrance cruise. This again we have varied passenger number limits and would ask you to call 01189 481088 or contact us for the latest update.

Coming Soon:

We expect to be able to offer limited weekend open boat trips from April 17th however await DEFRA guidance in the next few days.

We expect to be able to offer dining cruises from May 17th but again await DEFRA guidance in the next few days.

There may be the opportunity for smaller group private charter from May 17th and we will confirm this shortly

We have in place social distancing measures that were applicable last year such as our unique boat screens between tables and have planned for reduced capacities if required. The news that we can re-open fully from June 21st is spirit-lifting for the entire team and gives us hope of a normal summer. We are seeing high levels of enquiries for private charter so encourage early booking. We will advise of the options and relevant social distancing measures (or not) as advice changes.

At the current time, we are expecting an update from Henley Regatta regarding the regatta week and understand the date may be varied. We are expecting the Reading Festival to operate as close to normal as possible.

As a small family business, we are pleased to offer you the reassurance that should your booked private charter or boat trip not be able to take place due to Covid 19 national or local policy we will rearrange or offer a refund for your booking. This will continue for the remainder of 2021 and you will be able to rebook where possible into 2022.

Lastly – we can not wait to welcome passengers and guests back on-board, please come and enjoy the river!
