Autumn time = Show time II

At the end of November all yachting eyes in Germany were focussing on Berlin and the local "Boot & Fun" boatshow. This year with the presence of 5.5 GER 84 "Ali Baba", best German Evolution boat, this season.

The Berlin show offered a good opportunity to tell local sailors about activities of the Class, which in 2020 will be offering not less then four regatta events on Berlin waters - in a row - from 27th June to 12th July. Hosting Clubs are ASV on "Scharfe Lanke" and VSaW on Wannsee. The main event being the "German Open" (3rd to 5th July), at VSaW. The Berlin owners are also inviting interested sailors to join a 3 day weekend (1st to 3rd May) of test-sailing 5.5's, at WSV 1921, on Langer See, East of Berlin.
