With regards Phillips. I actually get your point and there are times you want to see more positive play. But that can't be laid at the players feet. It's clear that Southgate has sent them out with those tactics. See what Phillips does for Leeds and it isn't the same role for England. And if players ignored the instructions and started playing for themselves, the whole team would suffer. We all know your anti-Leeds stance, but Phillips surely can't be the player at the top of your list of who shouldn't be in an England shirt?
