Definitely... Well apart from the not liking to agree with me part.

I was in the North too and, as you're no doubt aware, we had 2 or 3 really good chances in that second half that, had we taken even one, could really have made
for an interesting end to the game. My only disappointment from the night was that we didn't manage to take one, along with the early defence of course! Otherwise, for the most part, we went pretty well. You only need look on the VT and see comments like 'anyone writing Wigan off this season needs to think again' to know that.

The Roosters were worthy winners by virtue of taking the chances that came their way. That clinicalness was ultimately the difference between the two sides but I also think that last score skewed the scoreline a little as we were definitely the better team in the 2nd half. One that got away as you say.

Tbh though (and I'm not saying this to get at him) I think that the game was the polar opposite of what The Enforcer has been saying and was well worth playing even without the financial and other benefits I listed in the other thread. Why? Because opportunities to test yourself against the very best come along all too infrequently and when the players review that video they'll see that they weren't a million miles off the pace.
