We are deeply saddened to report the death of Judith Wood, who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 17 April, with family around her.
Judith first became involved with the club when her husband Dennis started playing for us in the 1980’s – and indeed he was to become club captain for the 1986/87 season. Judith found herself working behind the bar but went on to do so much more as de facto clubhouse manager, shop supremo and kit purchaser, with the whole family – Dennis and their daughters Emma and Briony – all drawn in to work the …
