Royals BBQ 2014

Royal Chester Rowing Club Summer BBQ gathered members from all sections, Masters to Juniors, together with family and friends to celebrate the end of the 2013/14 rowing season. The new 2014/15 season starts with the Chester Long Distance Sculling Race on Sunday 28th September when over 350 crews will race on the Dee.

In the meantime crews took time out from training to enjoy a fine evening with a Hog Roast in the idyllic surroundings of a unique river garden kindly provided by member Robin Witter. Some enthusiastic juniors even braved the swimming pool. Said club captain Mike Palamaczuck "This is our chance to bring together athletes and the families who have supported them in competition throughout the year to say a big ‘thank you’ ".
