Financial Report

At the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2025) VRA again finished with a surplus, thanks to your support and Frank’s careful stewardship. Annually, VRA retires old oars and ergs and buys new ones to ensure the fleet and training equipment stays up to date. As Frank mentioned, VRA also invested in new launches and battery packs so that VRA could add a little “green” to the traditional orange and blue.

Even after the investment in new equipment, VRA still tends to the main business at hand – racing! The regatta budget is approximately $100,000 per year. Though every team member contributes $2,500 per year through dues, rent-a-rowers, and other fundraising activities, VRA’s high quality racing program would not be possible without your contributions. Thank you for helping VRA remain a world class rowing program!
