Club House Opening
What a fantastic day it turned out to be at the club for the opening ceremony despite the weather.
On Saturday 4th October 2025 we celebrated our newly renovated club house. Unfortunately the storm stopped our row, so we held a Silly Olympics with ergs and an egg & spoon obstacle course. There was even a grand prize of an apple each!!
We enjoyed a fantastic social occasion with great speeches from Alan Campbell and our Chair, Francis. The plaque was unveiled, and the new quad Grebe was name and lots of food! We were delighted to be joined by a few of our long-standing members, including Julian Wade (his boat is on the wall), Peter James, Jonathan Drake & Ant.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped organise it, cook and wash up at the end.
