Congratulations to our six alumni selected to represent their national teams at the 2025 World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, China from 21-28 September.
Team GB | Men’s Four
James Robson (Men’s Blue Boat 2025)
Douwe de Graaf (Men’s Blue Boat 2025)
George Bourne (Men’s Blue Boat 2025)
Robson, de Graff, and Bourne, fresh off a resounding Boat Race victory and an ambitious Henley campaign, will be joined by Dan Graham in the Men’s Four.
Team USA | Women’s Eight
Megan Lee (Women’s Blue Boat 2024)
Lee, who stroked the women to victory in 2024, has been selected to stroke the US Women’s Eight.
Team South Africa | Women’s Single Sculls
Paige Badenhorst (Women’s Blue Boat 2022)
Following her debut in this event during Paris 2024, Badenhorst will look to build on her performance during the 2025 World Rowing Cup in Lucerne.
Team GB | Reserve
Imogen Grant (Women’s Lightweight 2016, Blondie 2016, 17, Women’s Blue Boat 2018, 19, 22)
Balancing her full-time schedule as an NHS doctor with her rowing training, Grant will serve as a reserve for the event in Shanghai.
