Delaware Men’s Crew Interest Meeting Fall 2025

0 1724

Blue Hens, we can’t wait to tell you what it is like to compete as a UD student-athlete in the sport of rowing!

We’re looking for new students and upperclassmen interested in pushing their limits and being part of a winning team. Rowing builds strength, teamwork, communication, and time management skills – all valuable assets for college and beyond.

Learning the basics of rowing takes about three weeks. Like riding a bike, it involves balance and technique before you apply your energy to make the boat move fast.

We also need walk-on coxswains who are a combination of (1) drill sergeant, (2) hype man and (3) fighter pilot.

Interested? Here’s how to get involved:

  • Information Session: Wednesday, August 27th, 6:30 PM, Collins Room at the Perkins Student Center
  • First Practice: Saturday, August 30th, 10:00 AM. Buses will leave at 9:30 AM from Haines St. behind Russell Hall B (see pinned location on map below for reference)
  • Can’t make it? Fill out our interest form: https://delawarecrew.com/walk-on-rowing/

We hope to see you there!
