Virginia Men’s Rowing Fights All the Way to Friday at the Henley Royal Regatta in England
After an intense training camp post-domestic season the team embarked on their European Tour, starting with a one week camp in Switzerland. First, the team trained with the Swiss National Team—training out of their training center on Lake Sarnen—followed by winning at the National Regatta Greifensee, near Zurich. After a week of training on the mystical race course in Henley-On-Thames, the Hoos fought through the tough, one-on-one championship bracket. Their successful run came to an end when beaten by Harvard University, who after an unbeaten season also ended up winning Henley Royal. More information can be found on the HRR website.
